Texarkana College to close two computer technology courses due to lack of demand, enrollment

TEXARKANA, Texas – The Texarkana Faculty board of trustees authorised the closure of two laptop or computer engineering courses that have shown very low enrollment in excess of the final 10 yrs in a conference on Monday.

Vice President of Instruction Dr. Donna McDaniel gave the report to the board and encouraged the closure of the Associate of Used Arts diploma with a concentration in Laptop Programming and the Associate of Utilized Arts diploma with a concentration in Pc Networking owing to a ongoing decrease in enrollment more than the years.

McDaniel mentioned the classes experienced a merged enrollment of just nine learners previous semester.
